How do you record game footage from an emulator?
How do you record game footage from an emulator?
If you've seen the 100 Super Famicom games in 10 minutes videos on youtube, then you know what I'm talking about. I've offered to help the guy who made these videos make a 4th video with several of the games I've seen that are not on his videos. I have a video capture card, so I could record these off of my VHS and figure out how to record them digitally with the video capture card (I bought it, but I've never really spent much time trying to figure it out). Don't they have ways to just record an emulator off of a computer? I'm thinking that it may be easier that way. Not sure. Any ideas on how to do that?

Some emulators have built in recorders that dump to avi; for a while I was using a version of FCEU that did that. Or you could use screen recorders like Fraps or what have you.
