Nice! Good line up of machines you have there :) Also like the old hi-fi, they don't make them like that anymore.

The old hi-fi is actually my dad's from the 70's. It is a Sansui receiver, not the super high end ones I've seen online, but pretty good. Still sounds great to me.

Yeah, I'd like to add a few more pinballs but I can't do it with the space down here. Plus I really need to get on with adulthood I suppose

That poster would look so much better without the ugly Black Label pasted on and screenshots in corners. Seriously, this is the worst looking Cave poster yet. Or your camera doesn't make it justice.

Thats a sweet looking pinball Caldwert, grats.

On today's episode of Arasoi bought a thing:

Extron PA 250 Peaking Amp/Sync Stripper

Purchased to solve composite video syncing issues with my XM29. I'm basically shooting a fly with a bazooka with this, but I dont feel like making an LM1881 circuit right now.

Just bought a Yamaha SY-22 for £50, can't wait to get it and play around with it. It has a broken key, but I'm not a player, just want to experiment with some sounds from it.

Yeah I can't wait to get it. Have you played one? Not sure how I'm going to utilise it yet..the stuff I do isn't suited to long spacey keys, but I'll probably get some nice samples from it. More of a plaything for me to mess around with I think! May circuit bend it too if I can find some nice bend points on it, though there seem to be no bent Sy-22s, just TG-33s.

This is true! This has a joystick on it that mixes FM waveforms with two sampled waveforms so you can mix them together with it while playing keys. Should get some nice spacey sounds from it.

Very nice pair of DDP-DOJ and DDP-DFK Black Label variant posters, adversity1. Were they professionally framed or did you save some yen and frame them yourself? It's always nice to admire framed arcade shmups posters from a distance while playing a serious shmup session.

I used to patronize one local arcade that would display cool current Hollywood movie posters on the walls...was really easy on the eyes indeed.

Been dumping money into gear instead of dumping time into practicing

Boss PW-10, SD-1, BD-2, MD-2, and a Korg PB-01 (it's awesome!). All the Boss gear were purchased 2nd-hand from craigslist, the Pitchblack was brand new from a retailer. I guess it's too awesome that people aren't willing to sell theirs.

I would move out to take that setup to the next level. I'm limited by space and hearing about how many machines I have. If I had my own place, we'd really get rolling then.

Got 3 Timothy Zhan Star Wars novels: Heir to the Empire, Dark Force Rising, and The Last Command. All hard cover books with their outer plastic cover still there. i'd post pictures but I don't have a camera to do so. :<
Either way they're great books and i'd suggest anyone to get em. you can grab them cheap at used book stores. (fuck those paperback versions I enjoy having a nice hardcover and these cost 2 dollars less each anyway.)
