Really enjoying some Spriggan Mk2!

very misunderstood and unappreciated.
A very bad-assed game. Awesome use of Super-CD abilities.
Sidescrolling mech action with dialogue from wingmen almost seems like a precursor to Assault Suit Leynos on Saturn.

This game is worth checking out at least because it's THE ONLY hori shmup by Compile

Now having fun with Soldier Blade, Blazing Star, Dangun Feveron, Genetos and RayForce

Soldier Blade has serious chances to be branded 'my all-time favorite shmup'. I adore every pixel of it!

still been playing Keim's Arcanacra Black Label shmup which after this last couple of days of getting more serius at trying to complete it, I finally managed to do it after flucking the last pattern with no lives and bombs left

Shame i cant upload my highscores to the online leaderboard so i took the next best thing and boasted about here

I know theres a ton of fancier and better looking shmups i can play but Keim (with also Nomltest) certainly knows how to make simple but addictive shmups, i wish he would make another game

Battle Bakraid (About 40 hours in already) - Trying to ALL advanced, learning to chain (makes my runs easier when suiciding extends) and other crap and Dimahoo (Getting back to it, I put in 20 hours into it before but never got far in last stage due asshole bosses ) as in trying to finish it on low rank (It's doable, however the only big obsctacle is stage 5 boss, IF I DIDN'T NEED to bomb so much on him, I would have alled this game already!

trying to 1cc shikigami no shiro 2, failing horribly (best ive done is 4-2 boss)

shmups get so discouraging, i hate fucking making it to 3-1 or something and losing all my lives... why cant i just do it like i did it in that good run EVERY run? so annoying.

Dangun and Mars Matrix with a friend. Creditfed like crazy, but we were too busy talking it up and stuff to care.

We had more fun with Dangun, and suprisingly, we both could play on 1 keyboard without screwing the other's controls up.
I wanted to play RSG, but we'd need to find a USB keyboard because of how many buttons you need, and all the ones in the room were PS/2.


Also, I swear, everytime I shmup with a friend, we creditfeed. Anyone else have this happen so much?

Trying to no miss this goddamn normal mode in Thunder Force IV... ^^
I always lose one or two lives at the moment.

After that I´ll see what´s possible on hard and maniac or I´ll finally return to Giga Wing.

Also, I swear, everytime I shmup with a friend, we creditfeed. Anyone else have this happen so much?

*lol* Yeah, everytime I play Giga Wing 2 with a friend (the only Shoot ´em Up he play´s regularly besides Under Defeat) I suddenly die like whatever, he does so anyways. Probably we´re not motivated enough since deaths don´t affect the medals´ worth like in single player mode.
Continues don´t even affect the score (besides the last digit). So we´re playing more for score and sparing our bombs.
