got more cabs

started making music again and bought a bunch of gear

started skating again after like 2-3 years off....oddly enough im better now, but one bad fall and im done for the day....and i rarely skate for more than an hour....thankfully pretty much all my skating friends still skate, and i got a few of my buddies to start skating again too

and when i say skating i mean rollerblading(handrails, gaps, ledges etc).....skateboarding is for gheys

time flies

im trying to be more productive this year, but im easily distracted, so we shall see

My greatest accomplishment was Kill the last boss in HotDog Storm after 10 minutes of most intense boss fight.
Cool!

Celebrated 3 year anniversary with girlfriend.
Started teacher training course, so hopefully should have some sort of career by the end of this year.
Quit one of the worst jobs of my life.
Stuck at one of the worst jobs of my life for more than half of 2009 and didn't kill myself.
Spent most of the year pretty drunk.

ahhh, but am i? :) progear you can just use the bullet cancelling as infinite bombs, psikyo's always the same. tap tap tap tap tap tap and very little variation in danger between separate plays :)

scoring changes progear, but psikyo not so much :D

progear bosses are easy, for one =/ gunbird 2, i'll concede, gets difficult, but it's nothing that bombs can't solve. until the second loop, anyway. and jonny5, like i said, i've gotten to the end of progear and game-overed on purpose. there isn't very much difference between US and JP versions anyway; a survival strat for a particular section in the US version will be just as effective in the JP version, from my (admittedly extremely limited) experiments. i didn't want progear being my first arcade clear (first loop, of course). i did the same thing with futari original; it wasn't something i wanted to remember that way :P

anywho, my list for this year is right here: http://medal.falsficare.com and i intend to keep to it. i haven't been playing video games very much since 1LCing DDP, so when i get around to clearing futari maniac, i'll let you know how long it takes me to do progear :)

another accomplishment from last year:

i don't remember. i weight ~125lb and it was between 280lb-340lb that i did. unless it's nearing the most i can possibly do, i can squat any weight practically forever. no one believed i could do it so i made some bets :P

I went on two exotic holidays for the first time in one year.

I managed to keep my job.

I ended up with more money than I had in 2008.

I got more kisses in 2009 than the previous 5 years combined.

I'm impressed you find it so easy, took me months to 1cc the JP version (and get a half decent score.)

Try Dragon Blaze dude, it's a walk in the park. :P

More importantly, define "squat". Wiggling a couple inches is just useless masturbation - proving your bones were built with a safety factor ~4 is about as impressive as pooping. Like my small poops; not the heroic ones that approach the size of my forearm.

Between 2008-2009: Hiked a shit-ton of the San Gabriel Mountains (all the high elevation peaks) and a lot of the Santa Monicas

Finished three mandatory California teaching tests needed to continue my job (actually a big pain in the ass.)

Went to Stone Brewery

Moved to an apartment where I can walk to work

Learned how to brew beer (more of a 2010 thing though)

Helped promote a tour (and released an album) by one of my favorite bands.
