So I'm attempting to have my model 1 genesis and model 1 sega cd powered by the same psu.
I know that they each use the same psu rated at 9v 1.2a centre negative
so I figure I can use a 9v provided it has at least 3a.
I'm looking at this one but the 9v-12v output is throwing me off. I don't see any mention of a switch...
also, none of the ones I've found have centre negative but centre positive and barrel ground. I suppose I could fit on a new end and change the pinout right?
thanks,
King.

do you guys have radioshack up there? you can mix and match transformers, connectors, and polarity using their system.

we have 'the source', I'll check it out. But I can just as easily change the plug myself. I suppose changing the pinout is all I need to do.
