Question about Jap360

After hours of drooling over some Ketsui & Deathsmiles videos, i've decided
to invest in a japanese XBox 360.

I got most of the things i need figured out, but Im not sure if I need to
buy a voltage converter or will the console work with a PAL power supply?

Half the sites on teh internets (uhum) say I do, the other half says no?
