I just think they're awesome. I mean, I was debating putting some Smiths stuff on there and whatnot...but that probably would have been just as cliched.
Nearly? Man, they ALL are great!

Not an easy question to answer, but I could give it a shot.

Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here, Meddle, Animals, Dark Side of the Moon, Division Bell
Meat Loaf - Bat out of Hell
Supertramp - Crime of the Century, Breakfast in America, Even in the Quietest Moments
The Who - Who's Next, The Who Sell Out
Dave Brubeck quartet - Time Out (C-c-c-c-combo breaker)
The Eagles - Hotel California, Desperado
Billy Joel - The Stranger

This excludes a lot of stuff I've only heard in collected form, etc.

Bands aren't listed in any particular order, but albums are listed in most-to-least-favourite order within bands

Oh God! 15 is in no way enough. Never has been, still isn't.

Order is irrelevant:
1) Neil Young - Tonight's the Night
2) Love - Forever Changes
3) Amon Duul 2 - Yeti
4) Can - Monster Movie
5) Faust - Tapes
6) Syd Barrett - Barrett
7) White Heaven - Out
8> Wire - Chairs Missing
9) Terminals - Touch
10) Pin Group - (all collected on one CD)
11) Sun Ra - Cosmic Tones for Mental Therapy
12) Henry Cow - In Praise of Learning
13) Vajra - Tusgaru
14) Bardo Pond - Amanita
15) Fleetwood Mac - Tusk (I'm not fuckin' with you)
16) Roxy Music - Stranded
17) Brian Eno - Here Come the Warm Jets
18) Robert Wyatt - Rock Bottom
19) Genesis - Lamb lies down on broadway
20) King Crimson - Lark's Tongues in Aspic
21) Bach's Sonatas & Partitas for Violins
22) Albert Ayler - Live in Greenwich Village
23) John Coltrane - African Brass

I'm cutting it off here. There wasn't even enough space for Metal to make it on here. That's how cruel limiting it to 15 is.

Edit: Somehow that means Fleetwood Mac's Tusk > Metal. Holy shit!!!!

To think, kids these days don't even know what it's like to listen to an "album"

edit: I did not read past the second post before posting mine, all of these were off the top of my head.
