Just before New Years, my local favorite comic book store in the Phoenix/Glendale AZ area, Stalking Moon, was having a 30% off sale on figures and models and 50% off sale on manga.

Image

I picked up a Priss Bubblegum Crisis figure + transforming Motoslave bike (Yamato) (I have the Linna one I got a year or so ago), Blanc Neige from Shining Tears/Shining Wind (Kotobukiya), and an Evangelion Revoltech (Kaiyodo) for my friend Specineff. For manga I also scored Haruhi vol 4 and To Terra (never seen the manga before). I'm celebrating my new job I'll be starting in the next week or two.

Click on the image above for a larger view.

NEAT STUFF! When I score big on stuff like this, I start to go into my Little Mermaid mode and sing, "Look at this shit! Isn't it NEAT? Doesn't it make my COLLECTION COMPLETE?"

Also i found randomly that Costco (teh UK) are selling long/body pillows with a case for 13GBP so I have one for my Gurren laggan pillow case which i picked up in JP. So if you guys have been struggling to get one for your over priced death smiles ones you know where to get them in the UK now. All right for you guys with your bed bath an beyond.

I don't really have a problem with your wall, but you're hugging a dakimakura and your dog looks like it's blowing you. Make up your mind.

Its a great name. I did not want a stupid name i wanted something you could call a human. People think he is named after the dog in Anchor Man but he is actually named after the scientist from the ninja turtles.

Anime body pillows, dogs, and perverted talk. I like where this is going.

Got a nice gift today. Shooting .45 at the range has gotten pricey due to ammo costs so a family member got me this:

Image

.22LR conversion kit for 1911 model .45. .22LR is cheap ammo, so I can get to the range more often.

Nice, .22 pistols are a blast. And Kimber makes great 1911s, I used to shoot my dads when I wasn't using his HS2000.

You don't happen to live in Kansas, do you? Our shop just sold one of those today. A sweet little thing with a light and smooth trigger...well, the frame it was on at least.

Nah, I live n the chlly north. Apparently they had to ask the store to dig the kit out of the back room or something. At least it was a good price for my family member.

My 1911 is a 90s vintage Springfield Armory, the kit went on pretty much wthout fuss. Ill be taking it out tomorrow for some testing. Its too bad .45 ACP ammo costs so much, the recoil was never bad, and next to nothing after I put in a suppressor guide rod/spring.

I had a sealed one for years but sold it a few weeks ago. It looks identical, but I recommend you take some better pictures. Here's some old pics of mine (taken in 2005):

Because I can't control myself, I have added the below item. Actually, I've wanted one of these machines for years, plus room is maxed out as you'll see. So this will drive me to finally move out, yes I still live at home, but it's ok for the time being.
