Naughty high score tags :)

What games change your high score tag if you enter something dirty?
Let's get a fun list going!

Metal Slug:
SEX -> OH!

ESP Galuda:
SEX -> CAV (ARK for arrange mode)

I used to know more but those are the most recent ones I've fooled around with.

Kind of off topic, but I used to play an old SNES game called Uniracers and if you named one of your racers SEGA or SONIC you'd get a message that said "not cool enough" and you had to put in something else. Same thing for curse words, but I always thought that was funny.

When I put something like SEX or ASS in the PS2 verison of Gradius 4, the guy said "Dangerrrrrr!!!" and put AAA instead.

I feel sorry for people whose full name is either something like Sam Ethon Xavier or Anthony Samson Smith.

I like putting in naughty or stupid initials in games where the high score is not saved or I didn't do a good run and end up on the bottom of the hi-score list.

I have lots of pity for anyone named Frederick Ulysses King if he's the high scorer on 19XX. On Capcom games, FUK is generally "CAP"-ped out.

SBD or CHT for when I have trouble unlocking everything in certain shmups.

SBD is short for STRONGBAD, and CHT is well....CHEAT.

And well, I think you can figure out why I would put CHEAT up in the scoreboard just to unlock something.

My goodness, I hope that's not true... yet, the curiosity is killing me!

I ought to try the Garegga / Batrider one too :D

I know that "SEX" remains the same in ESP RaDe, heh heh heh... maybe I should go to the arcade really early in the morning and get an unbeatable high score (or five) and have that plastered all the way down the high score table for the entire day.

On the contrary, I think it will make people feel dumb or untalented when their score couldn't top some absurd name. For example, on the Strikers 1945 Plus machine at the local grocery store, I'm in first place (as well as like the next 3 places) with ~500,000 under my alias "POO".

I'm pretty sure that Giga Wing 2 on DC will change nearly every rude 3 letter word (or the ones I use anyways - FUK, POO, COK, ASS - yes I'm childish )to plain old Cap (I think).

The only thing I've done is type absurd questions etc inthe "tell me about option" in Fallout 1

I haven't typed anything in a highscore like that in years (partly now that I suck at games)

Strangely enough, my friend's name's initials are KKK. None of them are filtered though, or at least not to my recollection.

XXX is filtered in one game we played, but I just can't remember which. People with "AAA" initials are screwed over for basically all arcade games.

Whoa, there's an EspRaDe machine in Vancouver? I'll have to keep that in mind if I ever go up there.

I was playing Shienryu (Geki-Oh: Shooting King) on my PSOne last night and gave this topic a thought. ASS and FUK remain unchanged, but if you enter SEX for your high score, the game changes it to TYO. I wonder what the signifigance of TYO is...

TYO may be the initials of someone who had worked on the game.

Also in Ikaruga SEX is changed to "H !"
In Darius Gaiden SEX is changed to "AAA"
and in Castle Shikigami 2 both "sex " and "fuck" are changed to "????"

We should list every shmup that censors words.

I've never played an arcade game that censored "FUQ"
which is really rude if you read it as two sylables (Fu-cue).
