A friend of mine had given me Puyo Pop Fever for the DS as cart only last year, and today I bought the instructions and box at this store. A while back, my friend picked up Riviera for the GBA for me pretty cheap at Game Stop cart only, and I bought the box and manual at this site. Sometimes it's cheaper to just buy them separately. The first Fire Emblem for the GBA was fetching a high price complete on eBay, so I bought the cart only for a decent price, then bought the box and manual at this site. It's run by BRE Software.

I remember BRE Software. "Buy 2, get one free, buy 3 get two free."

PSX Vita: Slightly more popular than Color TV-Game system. Almost as successful as the Wii U.

Yeah, and BRE usesd to advertise in the back of Next Gen and Gamepro magazines, IIRC. I'd drool over the Super Famicom imports listed for sale.

I wonder if they get their stock from game rental companies?

I wonder if what they do is legal?
I support this service as long as everything is legal and the quality is indistinguishable from the retail ones.
Or rather, I would support it but it looks like they don't have import stuff there; I searched for a few PS2 games I have that need some serious cover replacement, but nothing.

Ah yes, BRE Software was based out of Fresno, California. They had a booth set up at the 1989 Electronic Galaxy of Games Expo at the San Jose Convention Center selling all sorts of video game goodies including brand new Atari 7800 games. I was looking through their inventory and spotted a single Tower Toppler brand new and bought it right away for a mere $7.50. The guy manning the booth said that I had sharp eyes for spotting the 7800 port ot TT since he couldn't find it himself in all the boxes filled with 7800 games placed in front of him.

Would have loved some SNES cases and manuals.

These are originals. They are not duplicates. Their website even says "These are NOT PHOTOCOPIES." I assume that they probably get the leftovers from rental stores and such, like Undamned guessed.ZOM wrote:I wonder if what they do is legal?

Remember in the 90's when stores like Funcoland would pitch the game cases and manuals of Saturn and Playstation games and just sell the games disc-only? I hated that.

My friends used to work at Funco back in the day. When their boss wasn't there, I would go in and take any cases/manuals for any rare game in there. They usually didn't even have the game anyway, so later I'd pick up a disc or cart only game and have the complete game. I did this for a ton of Genesis games.

Yeah, the site is nice, but I wish there was more support for older systems. I need some SNES and Gameboy cases, but the oldest releases the site has to offer are GBA.Jockel wrote:Would have loved some SNES cases and manuals.

As you can all imagine, the 3 for 2 and the 5 for 3 deal spoiled me for life. The prices they sell used games nowadays, it's like being bent over a table and ploughed.
