MameMarquees Astro City CPO vs. Original?
I've been looking for a while for a 2L12B replacement panel for my Astro City (I currently have a 2L6B, but want to use the cab for fighters as well), but have had no luck in tracking one down. So I am considering getting the blank panel from Lizardlick and applying the MameMarquees CPO. I was just curious if anyone else here has used them and can comment on the quality of the overlays.

You could buy a Sanwa/Seimitsu licensed one from akihabarashop?
MM stuff is great, but I'm 100% certain he can't print silver, and 99% certain he has textured laminate. No good for the smooth, silvered surface of an Astro.

I'm just trying to save a bit of money, considering I can get the extra parts I need plus the panel on Lizardlick for less than the original panel alone costs at Aki. But yeah, I was curious if it was textured, not sure I'd like that look or feel...cools wrote:You could buy a Sanwa/Seimitsu licensed one from akihabarashop?

You could just punch the extra holes in yourself, if you're confident you won't wreck the panel doing so of course.

Ok, so here are both side by side. NOS is on top and the MM one is on the bottom. I havent had a chance to apply it to my control panel because there's a ton of residue I still need to scrape off but regardless, The biggest difference I can tell is colors, the NOS colors are more vivid. The reds, Blues and greens seem a bit off on the MM version not enough to bother me im not a perfectionist. quality wise it's top notch the material is real nice ill take some more pics when I get around to actually applying it.

it's called I F!@#ked up
I have to order another eventually since i made a huge mistake before I applied due to being a little over zealous.

Thanks for the pics! I think I'm gonna try going for the panel from Akihabarashop, but one thing I noticed here:
http://www.akihabarashop.jp/images/Astr ... l(Big).jpg
I see it includes a couple mounts for an LS-32, but I don't see any on the panel itself? Do the ones it comes with attach directly somehow or what?

weird not sure how those will attach, the ones on my panel seem to be spot welded on.
