Yeah, it is from the bugged version. I should probably get the fixed one, do I just need to uninstall the current version and then install the fixed one?

Do a full uninstall, then install the new version. During the uninstall, you'll have to select to remove save profiles too, otherwise that old bugged score will just get uploaded again.

I removed save profiles...and the bugged score is on local scores for some reason. Do I need to wait until the bugged score is removed?

Is the local bugged score the only score on the local high score table (after you installed the latest version)? If so, then I suspect it might be syncing the online score back to your local table.

Any news on the XBLA version? I guess the chances of it ever coming are near zero, right?

It's highly unlikely to appear on XBLA now. Besides, Jeff has moved over to iPhone development now.

Yes, that's it. I guess when the high score gets wiped it will return to normal?bcass wrote:Is the local bugged score the only score on the local high score table (after you installed the latest version)? If so, then I suspect it might be syncing the online score back to your local table.

Yeah, I'm sure they'll sort it out after Christmas. As I said before, I think the only way to permanantly solve this issue is by changing the format of the save files and wiping all local and online high scores. Bit of a pain, but better than people cheating.

Re: Gridrunner Revolution (new Jeff Minter game)
Sorry to dig up a relatively old thread; but I finally bought this one after putting it off for a long time and the thing just instacrashes on me every damn time. No error, no anything... it just can't seem to get started at all.
Anyone else have this problem?

I know.
I have to wait for admin approval to even bring up the issue at their forums, so I figured I might take a chance on getting an answer here beforehand. Call me impatient; but buying a game that won't run at all is a slightly annoying situation.
...and if that wasn't bad enough, I didn't notice the Steam version cost half as much as the D2D one until I was digging around their forums for answers. Not that I really mind sending a few more bucks their way; but at least mention that on the main site ffs.
