I recently had the analogue version on hand. Thread & pics here:
http://shmups.system11.org/viewtopic.ph ... ng#p523940

For the price quality was quite nice, better than with most $1000 standalone videoprocessors as they apply to much blur due to the excessive zooming neccessary on the progressive PSP signal.

The XRGB-3 though is MUCH better in terms of clarity and sharpness and it has a dedicated PSP-zoom mode to get fullscreen output on PSP-2000 signals.

There's lag on both systems in the range about 2-frames.

I will post images of Darius Burst running fullscreen the day the game is out :)

Use the 2nd D-Terminal input (because it has the best filtering for progressive signals) - that's the one on the back left. Turn of the LPF and enable the PSP zoom option. This one's located in the 5th main option, under the manual AFC setting I think. Works only in B0 mode, but looks gorgeous.

Wow, if it looks as impressive as you make it sound, I may be convinced to get a PSP and a XRGB3 yet!

What's bothering you about the picture ? You might want to try to enable the dot_by_dot option (enables regular scaling, so each pixel is scaled to the same size). The LenKeng delivers is much softer picture. Kinda halfway between the XRGB with and without LPF enabled on the PSP signal.

hello

hard to reproduce the problem with a camera ...

settings : PSP 2000 to D in 2 / LPF Off / B0 / Zoom

for me, B1 mode is better than B0 mode but not full screen

in B0 mode, picture is not as clean as in B1 mode (looks like very "aliased")

b0 mode

b1 mode

look at the ship and the green aura, you will see the problem...
