Ninja Five-0 is the bee's knees

Post by captain ahar »

i've had this game for a while and while i liked i never played it much. now in the middle of negotiating a possible trade, i picked it up again and it hasn't left the ds for almost a week. freakin incredible i say!

it is so playable i can't believe it. the only thing that pisses me off is 1) memorization seems to be key what with all the enemy ninja just fading in out of nowhere and 2) while swinging on the chain, if you circle around and end up hitting a box, you don't land you kind of float around a bit and often get hit as generally, single boxes=hostages.

anyway, wanted to say cause anyone i talk to here doesn't care... umm...

Yup. It's a sweet game. I'm on the last part of the last level right now, and I still haven't completed it for some reason.

Ah, thanks for reminding me cap'n. I loaned my copy to a gaming magazine editor few months back and he hasn't returned it yet. Dogs of recollection shall be released soon.

Sweet game, but DAMN I was pulling my hair out on some of those levels. I did manage to finish it though, but by then I was so burned-out I couldn't even begin to imagine playing Time Attack, aside from the very first levels.
No matter how good a game is, somebody will always hate it. No matter how bad a game is, somebody will always love it.

yeah, i got my copy used at gamestop back in the day, so around 1.5-2 years ago, for around $15.

y'know how they don't include the box and/or manual with used purchases, i got one anyway cause i had a friend on the inside. he gave me one of the display boxes that was being disposed of for one reason or another.

as far as time attack goes, i could probably complete the first episode with a bit of practice (i have the first two stages completed), but everything else is way out for me. i'm stuck on stage 3 in episode 2. i generally cruise along at a good clip, not getting hit so i can hold onto the Laser suit, but i end up making a string of mistakes that force me to restart... right near the end door generally. :?

i gotta say, if i end up trading it, i'm wondering how hard its going to be to get again, should i have the urge. :?
