I ordered Romancing Saga 3 and got Romancing Saga 1.
I told them what happened and i got Romancing Saga 3, and could keep Romancing Saga 1.

Two copies shipped on Nov 25th, nothing yet, but what do you know, postal strike just in, where i live. God damn, this sucks. Looks like i won't be joining you guys until 2010.

In an effort to keep this to game discussion...somewhat, i have a quick question guy's. Just in case i get screwed over with the first prints (although they shipped on the 25th...). Is the 1.01 DLC available by itself in the marketplace, or if not, will it ever be put up? Or can i just consider it a special pre-order only DLC bonus....however that works. Thanks!

Nope you can only get it with the first print for now.
However 1.01 won't melt your face off.

I am in Hong Kong for christmas and have been looking around for the game but so far I have only been able to find the limited edition at one place for $900 (about 70GBP) was wondering if anyone knows the going price for a standard version and where it is available in HK.

I would, but Im a bit strapped for cash atm but still want to get the game before the price starts increasing when stock runs out so I am just looking for the regular version.

Make sure you pick one up with the sticker on the front if you want the 1.01 DLC code.

If you haven't done this already, go to Golden Computer Arcade in Sham Shui Po. There are at least 30 stores in that shopping mall that sell Japanese games.

It has a challenging original mode. It's not supposed to add anything... it's the original version of the game.

Yeah, I have to be in the right mindset, but I like 1.01 Original quite a bit when I play it. It's a nice change of pace from all the other versions, with the lack of ground gem sucking especially giving it a really different feeling.

My copy arrived from Play-Asia today. It was ordered at the end of November, shipped on December 1 via AIR mail. No 1.0.1 DLC card ... but I was sort of expecting that.

Just wanted to stir up some speculation. With 1.01 and black label loaded, there is just enough room left in the menu for one more mode. Kinda looks like it was done on purpose, but who knows if we'll ever find out why....

On a completely different note, if you have the BL dlc, check out the replay for first place in original. Dude does some mindblowing stuff.

Sort of what happened when I ordered my Japanese 360... I ordered a Jasper Arcade (specifically said "with 256mb internal storage" in the item name) with some other items, and the Jaspers ran out of stock before the other items came back in stock. A few weeks later, they apparently gave up waiting for more Jaspers and shipped me a Falcon... and of course, didn't leave any evidence that I had ordered a Jasper in the first place, so at first they denied any wrongdoing. Eventually, after almost a month of prodding, I got some store credit out of it.

So Black Label is currently available? Do I need to load my Japanese account to get it? When I choose to download it in-game on my US account, BL isn't available to download. Forgive me if it's been mentioned already. I searched about 9 pages in this thread and couldn't find the info on it; I'm sure it's tucked away somewhere (is there a way to search specific threads without resorting to loading each page and searching for phrases?).

Anyway, I've completed my second first-run 1CC: Novice Maniac. Gonna kick it up a notch with Ultra tomorrow.

Hmm, I'm having a bit of a problem. After clearing up some space from my hard drive I decided to install futari on it.. the installation seemed to complete just fine, but the game still wont run without the disc. I checked the hard drive and there it is, using 815mb of the hard drive. When I try to delete it it says "There was a problem performing that action". If i try to delete it through the game library the menu just goes back and the game disappears until i return to the library (if i dont have the disc inside). If i try to reinstall it on hard drive when it thinks its gone it says the disc is scratched. So i have a useless 815mb filling my harddrive, any idea on how to fix it or remove the data?

edit: doh, is it supposed to require the disc? Still, the file should be removable.

You have to have the disc in the DVD drive when playing installed games. It does a check at the very start when you load the game and it doesn't access the disc again.
