Funny I should forget:
Knuckle Joe | Arcade (Taito).
This was the first arcade game I tried, and was instantly hooked.

Rise of the Triad![]()
Rise of the Triad is getting rebooted : ) PCEFAN moment- ROTT was originally intended to be the sequel to Wolfenstein 3D- they decided against it (I'd figure around the time someone wanted dog mode

Oddly enough that this damn game gets mentioned now- GOG.com has it for $3.xx- just picked it up and WinRott'd it and started playing it again. (also- anybody with a Gog.com account really needs to vote on the Blood packs

Re: Bad games that you DON'T regret that you've played
Rastan Saga 2/Nastar Warrior, the Rastan game that deserves to be in this thread.

I've never heard of Gog.com until now. Thanks for draining my wallet and making my night!

Star Ocean 4. The story is one of the worst of all time with terrible characters. Also the battle system is pretty much broken after you get one or two ultimate spamable abilities. Still finished it and all of the bonus dungeons twice. And plan to go back for another few playthroughs and BT grinding.
I'll also pop in another vote for Two Worlds. Played the multiplayer for a stupid amount of time and built an invincible character. I then used to join games in a loincloth and own enemies with my fists.

(I've mentioned this line before, always found it pretty dang funny - got both the quote and the name of the movie wrong last time though.)

Jeez, I haven't seen that movie since it came out. I forgot he even said that. Too bad the rest of the movie isn't as funny. That was back when Steve Martin was trying to be serious.Ed Oscuro wrote:"Oh, well. They're bad dudes. I had to dig that one up. "No matter how good a game is, somebody will always hate it. No matter how bad a game is, somebody will always love it."Specineff wrote:Is it a bad time to invoke Gheg's Law here?

I was HOOKED to that game for months when it was at the local bowling alley in my hometown. Man, I dumped a crap-ton of quarters into that game...BrianC wrote:Rastan Saga 2/Nastar Warrior, the Rastan game that deserves to be in this thread.

I mean everyone hates Silpheed on the CoCo 2.
Not to keep harping on it but it's TRUE.
