This is a weird find indeed. It doesn't say that it's the Sega Ages remake, so I wonder what's going on? If it's traditional Afterburner gamplay with next-gen graphics, then I'd be down.

But PLEASE Sega, DON'T turn this into a flight sim combat game!

You're a touch late to the party. At E3 behind closed doors Sega demonstrated early work on Sonic 360, Afterburner 360, and Virtua Fighter 360. This is coupled with Sega whoring out its classic franchises to various dev houses for next gen.

It does :D

Now let's hope someday for a "Galaxy Force III" using PS3 tech with half a million simultaneous lock-ons...

There's a BETTER video here
http://www.xboxyde.com/leech_1399_en.html

Closer, so it's larger with less glare
only downside is the lack of sound
currently collecting a crapload of coasters, carts, controllers, and consoles

Ohhh man, now I'm even more excited about the new After Burner; INCREDIBLE footage!! :D With all this Sega goodness, I may be on board with the 360! After Burner is already listed as coming out next year; though it's still says "TBA 2006".
