I can bring my supergun and stick. My TV now weighs more than me, and not because I've shrunk - it's a new and very heavy beast, so I can't bring that!

EDIT: That said, It's a lovely industry monitor in a chunky metal frame designed to be transported, and it makes JAMMA games look lovely, so if somebody can pick me and it up from Hackney, it would love to join us!

It should be noted that screen is screwed and whenever progear shows a screen ~50% black it flickers so much you can't see anything until it ends. This doesn't matter so much in Progear because it only happens during attract, the final boss intro, and the ending comic sequences. But any dark game where you're expected to shoot something is going to be impossible.

Can someone please offer to pick up Will's TV! I'm dying to see one of those in the flesh and it'll be perfect for our needs. I'm also willing to loan Mushi Futari 1.5 for the duration of the xmas period (about 2 weeks) if you guys fancy seeing it installed.

(P.S Taylor's right, that screen is fucked. Can't we put a fighting game in there instead and pinch a different Hori monitor for the shmups? )

I've got some bits for you and young Will as it goes, so I'll need to catch you at some point before xmas. Don't worry about the thread derail, people gotta do what they gotta do - just our luck we all think Sunday is clear and then find out the NE guys are doing something same day.

I'm going to be in London anyway dragging around loads of xmas junk that day anyway, so parking in Casino sounds sensible to me. If any of you are there mid day, I might see you, otherwise we should consider the meet canned until a later date.
But beer must be done - when are you all free for a drink one evening before xmas?
