Yeah I'll have to dload it when I get home from work today. At work. Hope the achievements get translated. Any word on if Black Label unlocks 1.01 for those of us that got jipped out of our pre-order code by play-asia?

Awesome news with BL available in US marketplace. That will save me a few bucks on importing points.

it makes good sense they would allow non jpn accounts access so that they can see how many out side of japan are also willing to pay for DLC. If they region locked the DLC then they would be missing a potentially sizable portion of their income. Not everyone likes overpaying for foreign Microsoft points, it's an unnecessary hurdle in the selling process. Is anyone else getting a weird stuttering problem with BL? About once or maybe twice per game, at a random time, the game will freeze for a fraction of a second, kind of like when you die in Under Defeat for example. It's really annoying, and it definitely wasn't happening with 1.5.

just wanted to share that I can add the DLC via the xbox.com site as well. This is cool since I'm at work and getting impatient and got curious if it was even possible. When you view your achievements you can click on the game name and it takes you to the media page which allows you to add to your xbox.

Is Futari Black Label really that good? Watching vids, it looks pretty much the same.
(I realize that it'll use the same sprites and such, but after a quick watch of a vid it seems like the enemy patterns are mostly the same too?)
What makes it so good? I'm pretty sure to buy it, but I'd like to hear from somebody first if possible.

Hum, I got huge slowdown on stage 3 boss on my first try in black label when I used recos laser on it.. was normal if i used rapid shot. Hopefully this is just my 360 messing up or something, would suck to have such game breaking bugs.

I've noticed that having the mag multiplier set to a non-integer causes background tearing. I'm using x3 for yoko on a 640x480 VGA monitor.

Nah seriously, only thing that sounds big to me is the multiplier carrying over between stages. I'm not good enough to beat well... anything besides novice on 1.5 yet, so I doubt I'd get anywhere here either.
Are all the enemy patterns and stuff the same in everything besides God Mode?
So original is basically exactly the same only with a color palette swap, more powerful shots, and less shot types?

Stage 3 boss in BL has lots of slowdowns on the PCB as well, mostly if you stay right in front of the boss the whole time. I just almost 1CC'd Black Label, whereas the best I can do in 1.5 is Stage 4 (Original mode) to give anyone curious an idea of how much easier BL is.
I want to choke whoever placed the 1up in Stage 5. If you don't have it memorized, it shows up just in time to fly up off the screen and you end up wasting a bomb as you fail to try to run up and grab it. Grrrrr. I would have beat Larsa if I had had it. Hell I should have beat her anyways. I could have just bombed my way through it since I got to her with 3 lives, but I just kept getting hit by stupid stuff before I even had time to bomb.

this has just arrived (no 1.01 DLC
), it doesn't work in my UK 360 but does work in the Asian 360
- i seriously doubt anyone else has had this problem? i suspect my 360 is on the way out, it's pretty old, but it still reads l4d2 (and i assume the rest of my games) ok

Hm, so they emulated the pcb slowdown that accurately? I was surprised at the laser causing the slowdown, while with normal shot the bosses bullets were way faster. This was on 360 original mode btw. I like the palette swaps on black label, the colors are more polarised and make the game pretty trippy with the increased amount of bullets and enemies.
