Just downloaded to new rom set and emu for MAME and to my suprise my favourate shmup of all time is now working.... Boogie Wings!!! BWAH GWAD!!!

Boogie Wings = the shiznitz!

Possably the shmup in history that allows the player to use a pogo stick and an elephant!

anyway I'd just thought I share my joy... laters!

On a lighter note though I'd think Kaiken you have a wet dream about this game just look at all the anti-ferris wheel action in this game lol.

ah right, I thought this game was non-working for a very long time. At least there are some people who like it. I first played this game when I was young in a holiday camp arcade. Me and my brother both completed it several times because this game was (and still is) the shizzy in two player mode... ah those were the days!

Exactly. I just got mine in the mail yesterday and it's a keeper for sure (and that's not after overpaying). Maybe this is a bad comparison, but being as they are the similar rarity, same erra, mfg., and possibly devel team, I can't help but say that this is far superior to Edward Randy. ER was fun, but not something that made me want to master it. Boogie Wings is not only fun but the gameplay is so tight and story/art packed with sharp wit, I can see playing this for years. They squeeze so much character out of the tiniest sprites!

I'm hoping the same will be true for Double Wings for mame, that game looks like a good raiden 2 clone.
