Name this movie (please!)

A buddy called to ask if this sounded familiar. Some of the stuff he didn't sound too sure on, so I'm trying to relay the best I can.

A guy (or a guy with a family) has a car break down at a (carnival), runs into another family (a 'pig family?) where they all have a (role) i.e. a (judge of life/death). Movie last seen about 15 or so years ago. Made it seem like a horror/comedy/black comedy, but then again also mentioned that he thought "Dan Akroyd" was in it- didn't really sound like a role I'd see him in?

Any help would be appreciated!

Yep, both Chevy Chase and Demi Moore are in this flick as well. ^_~

Dan Ackroyd plays the judge character under all that heavy special effects makeup as shown in "Nothing but Trouble" film.

It was interesting to learn that Jim Carrey is a fellow Canuck just like his comedian counterparts of Ackroyd, Martin Short, and Howie Mandel.

I'm trying to find out the name of this movie I saw on TV in the 80's. It was animated, I think it was from the 70's, and it had a real weird style, like the cutscenes in the CD-i Zelda games. It had this witch who turned people into frogs by saying "GORF" and I think there were kids dressed up like monsters for Halloween. I saw on Nickelodeon at some time between 1980 and 1986.
