Any Boom Blox fans out there?

Post by undamned »

If it wasn't for my buddy lending me his Wii, I'm pretty sure I would buy the system just for this game alone. I played quite a bit of the first one with said friend and then bought Bash Party used a while back. This is the kind of game I would have envisioned/wanted for the Wii all along. If you've not played it, it's like Jenga x 1million + the ability to throw stuff at blocks.

For you tricksters, here's a (poor quality) video of a grab-cancel exploit I found on Bobbing Bowl in Bash Party:

Yeah it's pretty good.
One of the sleeper hits of the Wii IMO.
And so is HotD Overkill.

I enjoyed it quite a bit, but once in a while it would start registering all my throws as being really weak, which was frustrating. Great game overall though, thought about trying the sequel but never did.

Love this game. I think they did a really good job with the sequel as well! Damn creepy blocky animals though.

I nearly finished the first one, but the camera got too goofy for some of the shooting levels, so I gave up on it right before the end.
