Apparently it can even write or rewrite save RAM. That seems pretty dang handy to me. Would be great fun to build your own ROM collections (and go on a dumping bin to see if you had any that weren't previously known).

That's pretty much a standard capability of cart dumping hardware. Some carts can't be dumped with read accesses alone, and removing write support would typically only save one I/O pin.Ed Oscuro wrote:Apparently it can even write or rewrite save RAM.

Yea; it can do this via a regular Windows folder view though. Quality!

Ha! I love stuff like this... its great to see people tinkering and digging around; and then making it accessible.

One day we'll all be hooking up our carts to the openpandora and playing on our crts with saturn usb controllers like men I tells you!

My GameDoctor, SuperWildcard (both SNES/SFC) and Tototek flash carts (SNES/SFC, MD/Genesis and SMS) can all do game and save RAM dumps. This sort of tech has been around for ages.

I think the point it that it acts like an external storage like a usb flash drive or hd - very "plug and play" It also has snes controller ports I think.
tototek flash carts arent even the same thing, arent those just carts you put roms ONTO to play in a console?
