Cool Bullet Hell Flash Game

Hey guys, last night I found this cool little flash game where you just see how long you can last against a boss. Its a bit repetitive, but its also quite addicting. Give it a try, feel free to post your high score.

half decent and fun flash boss run shmup, but it does sometimes have lag which is abit annoying to die due to it.

What i like about this compaired to that better made The Last Canopy butterfly thingy shmup (that one with the 4 trailing options) thats on the same site, is that this game is keyboard only so that all those gamers who think shmups should be played with a mouse cant get high on the highscore table due to the mouse making the game easier.

a score of 36xx in normal. ill think i might spend a bit more time with this and see if i can get into the top 10 or 20 (im in the top 30s already). Ive already spotted a couple of familiar names

On hard, I usually get killed by the additive laser field (by mainly colliding with the things that shoot the lasers and not the lasers themselves for some reason) and also those stupid homing missiles.

Glad everyone is enjoying it as much as me. Yeah, I had that Futari like craving last night and this was the closest thing I could find.

What keeps killing me is the damn Broad Spread lasers when playing on HARD. Going to try and improve my score.

Very enjoyable though. The ONE pattern I just hate is the missiles. They're really random.

The missiles aren't as hard as they seem. You can pretty much circle around the boss as he fires them, even getting quite close to him because the missiles can't turn quick. Haha maybe the game"N" helped me with homing missile manipulation though haha.

What's the secret in the options menu? I died to all attacks except for the mover one, but I don't know which attack is that.

or atleast i might of if i hadnt had Avast scare the shit out of me by false flagging half the games exe files on my hd.

tip for avoiding those missiles, just stop firing youll move faster

The secret is merely an inversion of colors (black becomes white and vice-versa).

Nothing stopping you from pressing two arrow keys at the same time

That did not work for me. Only one direction registered at a time.

to move in all 8 directions you could just use a gamepad

been playing some more and the game is a bit harder as im getting no lag like i did last night. If i get lag its always at night time, i wonder if theres alot more americans on the site then europians

btw ive still to get killed by 2 attacks to unlock the secret but i dont think ive come across them in normal mode. 1 attack is called the mover

I think the mover is when the boss is going from the top to the bottom of the screen and vice-versa. If you crash on him it at this moment it counts as a mover kill.

The secret is nothing special though.

Just managed to get 6000 odd, no 12 in the normal table. This is a fun game! I find the missiles, especially when fired from the bottom of the screen a fair bit harder to dodge than every other attack, but other than that, it's quite well balanced for a flash game. I wouldn't be surprised if the coder was a shmups member, or at least a lurker.

Cool game. For people having trouble with the missiles, just don't fire during that pattern, and it becomes a joke. Also, curse them for making enter restart! When I went to enter my score of 57xx, after entering the five-letter code I hit enter assuming it would submit the score, but it restarted instead!
