And I concede, it doesn't all suck... Just some of it.

Definitely the better of the two.
Phew, I'm glad there was at least one thing we agreed on!

Joint Security Area!

Also, I finally watched Memories of Murder and I really liked it. I heard Park's Vengeance Trilogy is getting a Blu-Ray release in March. Anyone wanna buy my Oldboy Blu? I'm getting the boxset for sure.

A Tale of Two Sisters.

Another example of how Korea trumps Japan in a genre they think is theirs.

What a great film.

I'm not trying to start a fight or anything, but I can't help noticing how fucking hip Korean films have become in the eyes of so many internet fanboys... suddenly, everyone loves Oldboy and shit and it's considered cool to proclaim how Korean cinema owns all other Asian cinemas. Btw, what is "Japan thinks that it owns the Horror (?) genre" even supposed to mean? Because from here it looks as if that sentence doesn'T make any goddamn sense at all...

I'm just used to people always saying that Japan has the best psychological horror movies. I thought Tale of Two Sisters was a very smart movie and a cut above anything Japan has to offer. I agree that Oldboy is overrated and Park's less known films are his better ones. Don't get mad man, I'm just on a Korean kick lately after years of ignoring everything except Japan/American movies.

I like your avatar too, it's cute. What's it from?

Wait a sec... are you pulling the old being nice to your enemy trick? Damn bro, that one gets me everytime... to make up for it, tell me what you think of Nightmare Detective 2 which I've had lying around here for a month now without watching it.

You should check out Louis Wain, he's "the man who drew cats". Most people know him for his "caleidoscope cats" but I love all of his paintings.
