Gradius V Boss Theme in 8-Bit....

Post by ST Dragon »

I found this quite interesting of how it would have sounded in 1987, if Gradius V had actually been released for the NES back in the day...

*gushes* OH MY FREAKING GOD, THAT IS AWESOME. I'm in utter joy, I love this! Not technically 8-bit, no, but I love a good chiptune~

Wasn't there an 8-bit-style rendition of "Stab and Stomp!" somewhere...?

^Yep. This topic reminded me of it too. Even reduced to 8 bits S&S is still pretty menacing, heh.

I love stuff like this. Otobeya on Youtube has quite a few good ones like this MUSHA Fullmetal Fighter NES version.

Sounds like something out of the GBA Tactics Ogre. If the drums were more militaristic, it'd be spot-on.

Interesting point, as I believe both are by Hitoshi Sakimoto. :)

That Battle Garegga 8-bit conversion sounds extremely good!! Excellent!
