No need to cancel the order, shoot them an email via the contact form and they'll append the coupon to your order assuming it hasn't already shipped by the time they get to it. I just appended the $12 coupon to my LE order, and upgraded the shipping to EMS.

Not sure what I'm doing with the NCSX order yet...

Out of curiosity, has anyone that has received their copy installed it to the HDD yet? I'm wondering how big it is.

Well it would have been a real kick in the pants if after all the region-free hoo-hah it ended up locked, but it's nice to see it confirmed for PAL as well :)

Hahaha Play-Asia upped their price from $68.90 to $74.90, I guess they're going to milk it now that they know it's region free.

Email from NCSX:

Quote:
yes the game will run fine on PAL Xbox 360 consoles as long as your television is HDTV or is capable of rendering both PAL and NTSC video signals.

excellent
wait, does this mean that the game will have graphic issues on a normal CRT tv?

If your tv and 360 have at least RGB Scart connection it should work fine (most/all tv's in EU support this).
Component, VGA or HDMI would also work fine. I think you could have problems if you only have the basic composite connection
(single yellow cable) avaible.

Man, now that it's actually possible to get this during Thanksgiving weekend without paying out the ass, I want it. Hopefully NCS will see my request and bump me up to USPS Priority before the game ships. :(
Elixir wrote:I guess they're going to milk it now that they know it's region free.
Nah. The lower price was a preorder incentive. Deathsmiles went up by $5 USD after release too.
Van_Artic wrote:i use the classic yellow video and red/white audio
Man, I would kill for an easy RGB connection to my TV. Get a SCART cable dude, on behalf of those of us in NTSC countries who can't. :P

Yep, same here - let's hope those "friendly" Canada customs people don't grab hold of it as well...

So, for the Standard Edition, Play-Asia ships with a bubble wrap envelope, while the Limited Ed needs at least the bubble wrap box.
Is it true that the Limited Ed also comes with a faceplate for the X360? It would explain the need for a bigger box.

i thought the faceplate or faceplate sticker thing only came if you ordered it directly from Cave.

Yep, you only get the faceplate if you pre-ordered direct from Cave.

Friday according to their website. Might be earlier if suppliers have been sent stock early. UK customers should get it no later than Saturday if you opted for Special Delivery.

Great stuff, I should be playing this next week :D Kind of glad it won't be here any sooner, as I have a tonne of work to get through. Also got a week or so to figure out a way to tate my TV properly. I'm thinking it's going to involve wedging books underneath it in some complicated arrangement :)

Mine shipped this morning from Play Asia - the invoice it states that it's region free. I've got a japanese and uk xbox so I'll check it and post as soon as it arrives. I remember that Deathsmiles with economy shipping it took just over a week to get here, so fingers crossed there's no postal strikes/customs problems.
