@$#%!
The overall number of repairs has decreased somewhat so turnaround time shouldn't be too bad right now. Send it in right away. If you're getting P-A's slow shipping, you might get the 360 back first.

Well the last time it failed was also around the holidays, around October IIRC. They got in such a rush to get the thing back to me in time for Christmas that they didn't repair it at all. I ended up not getting a functional Xbox until February some time. Hopefully they'll do better this time, given that it's unlikely they could screw things up as badly as last time.
I dream of the day when I stop asking questions to which I regret learning the answer.

Did NCSX change their shipping date to Nov 25.

Because I could have sworn it was Nov 27.

yep, looks like that may be the case....

...but there is good news and (potentially) bad news...
Mushihimesama Futari v1.5
Update: November 24, 2009
All preorders for the regular edition of X360 Mushihimesama Futari and roughly 5/8 of our preorders for the limited edition should ship out to customers tomorrow. The game was dispatched from Japanese distributors last night but one supplier whom we preordered the limited edition from did not receive their Futari LE allocation yet. They'll receive the game tonight.

We're targeting Friday for the arrival of the remainder but please note that there may be shortages of the limited edition from the upcoming Friday batch. We'll update accordingly once we receive the shipment proforma. If Cave actually fills our entire original order, we'll be very surprised.

Wow sounds like they got a lot of orders. Potential good news for overseas CAVE games.

well after re-reading NCSX message...I think everyone who ordered the LE will get a copy (unlike w/ Deathsmiles)....I think worst case scenario is that it looks like 3/8 of the people will get their LE a few days later than others since it looks like there shipments will arrive in a couple of batches...

hope that makes you feel better :)

Or am I misinterpreting their statement???

NCSX just requested a payment through paypal for my 2nd copy of the SE Mushi. Paid for the LE version already and now just paid for the SE version.

I fully paid so I'm guessing I'll be getting my order shipped tomorrow :D.

Me neither, I put my order in early in the morning on the 29th. I didn't think that was that late. Oh well, as long as it shows up in a decent amount of time, at least this way it might not ruin school to much for me.

Quick Q: Do all copies of the game come with the bonus DLC card NCSX is offering, or just the ones they're selling? I was thinking of buying from a West Coast-based retailer, since shipping times/costs from NYC to Cali are pretty awful, but if I'm going to have to muck around with buying more points later on then it might be worth the trouble.
I most definitely hate your favorite shooter.
For the sake of our own sanity, let's not even talk about Psikyo, Battle Garegga, or DDP DOJ with each other.

THe DLC included is for version 1.01 so you can't get it any other way than with a pre-order and it should be free to download. There will be a DLC appearing after that that will cost you points to download though for the Black Label.

Minor correction. The DLC card is included with all first print copies. As long as your retailer of choice is getting their copies in now and doesn't end up running out before you get yours, you're guaranteed to get it. You might even get lucky if they restock, but with an import retailer that's doubtful.

Also: the Deathsmiles first print DLC has not been made available for purchase at all, so don't worry about mucking around with points if you miss Futari's.

anyone who is nice-nice with NCSX... can you please ask what their presale order count is? or I hope they will report a first week sale count... and the same for play-asia... it would be nice to see what kind of support this game is getting.

I emailed NCSX, and for anyone who picked UPS ground shipping it won't be sent out till Monday because of Thanksgiving. But they said that you can switch it to USPS if you'd like and it'll ship on Friday.

THANK YOU for that info. I called them and have mine shipping Priority Mail now. Shipping went down like 4 bucks too, so that's a plus.

Tried using it, did not work last night. Probably because it's before the official release date I imagine.

Is play asia the only place (or the best place) I can order this (to Canada)? Apologies for not reading through all the pages. Just joining in now.

That makes sense. How would you use something like that anyway, don't you have to like browse to the download from within the game menu, or do you press the "Y" button to enter the code on the card? Is the code in Japanese, or are there numbers?

This was posted on NeoGAF:
Email from NCSX:

Quote:
yes the game will run fine on PAL Xbox 360 consoles as long as your television is HDTV or is capable of rendering both PAL and NTSC video signals.

excellent
BTW, for those who can read French and Italian, is there any hype for this game being region free on MBs like this?

Re: the 1.01 DL card, yes it just has numbers on it, and you enter it in the DL code box.

This just might be. So now I'm wondering if I can cancel my pre-order and re-order the game with this $8 coupon that PA sent out that has to be used by the end of the year.
