I knew of the show, haven't yet watched it though.

Also played Breaker Morant, and the original Wicker Man (with less BEEEEES).

I used to watch it in the mid-late 80's. Remember the one where Adam Ant played the kid-pron guy? Damn good performance if you ask me. S. Copeland's music hell yeah!

i thought he had already died a few years back. Funny coincidence as i was watching a film with him in it a couple of days ago and thought it was a shame he died as i liked him as an actor (i loved equalizer as a kid)

weather he died recently or not its still a great shame

It is a sad day. The Equalizer was one of my favorite TV shows. I am a huge fan of Stewart Copelands music. The Equalizer had great background music. It added alot to the atmosphere of the show.

He was an excellent actor, it's a shame.

His son carries on his acting legacy. iirc they shared the screen together in an episode of J. Michael Straczynski's Crusade.
