I saw quite possibly THE funniest T-Shirt ever today..

Post by DantesInferno »

I had to go to the I.T. Dept. at work today, and one of the girl's who works there had on one of the funniest shirts ever..it was intended to be worn by females, but..the statement was brilliant..on the chest it said..

U R Teh Su><0rz

(if you type like this you are too lame to be looking at my chest)

I laughed til I cried. I asked her where she got it, and she said she got it online..she has a lot of awesome shirts, another I love is the "No DDR" shirt. It looks like a ghostbusters shirt, but instead of a ghost being..uhh..crossed out, it's a DDR mat. It was beautiful.

Anyways, has anyone else seen these? I have looked for about an hour with no luck.

Good thing I don't type like that.

I know here in San Francisco, at Fishermen's Wharf, they sell t-shirts with funny lines on them.

The only funny t-shirts I have are from Hot Topics.

It wasn't a stare really, more like..numerous glances til she asked if I liked her shirt. :D ..and since I don't type like that...ever...technically, I was allowed to stare at it.

that "su><orz" shirt actually would have been funnier without the bit in brackets... it just sounds a bit... try hard... or maybe too targeted... I dunno. it's like it's saying "you suck for typing like that, but how lame am i for wearing a t-shirt making reference to that fact as though anyone around me really cares". hrmmm... it would have been funnier if the bit in brackets just said (stop looking at my chest). well, there's my two cents :P

got myself a shirt from that site... best shirt ever. pure genius.

One of the best T-shirts I'd ever seen said "Chicks hate me." I'd still love that shirt, even if I am married. That would be great.

zimeon, you should not be posting any URL's related to Real Ultimate Power.

let me tell you a story: in my senior year of high school, in english class, i hopped on the computer in the middle of class (as I was prone to do). And I decided, "Hey I'll look at Real Ultimate Power and see if anything new is up!" Then I proceeded to read the whole site again. When I began to cry with fits of laughter, the rest of my class came over and started to read it too, and the cool people started to laugh and cry as well. Then my teacher got curious (she was/is the coolest!), came over and laughed with the rest of us cool people (of which, I was there king).

so you see children, Real Ultimate Power is a dangerous website that severely harms productivity.

side note: i tried reading the RUP book on the bus, didn't quite work out. i shall remember the stares i received forever.
I have no sig whatsoever.

I was so pissed off when I discovered that Hot Topic and Urban Outfitters started selling Mr. Sparkle T-shirts. It totally ruins it.

When will people realize that obscure references (or nostalgia, for that matter) lose all their charm when they're massed produced and can be seen everywhere?

T-Shirt Hell has some good shirts, but a lot of times they seem to just be offensive for the sake of being offensive, and they forget that shock value alone doesn't make a good punchline.

It's not even necessarily obscure references, I just enjoy wearing T-shirts that other people don't have. Some of my favorite T-shirts were bought while vacationing around the world. Even cheaply made crap aimed at tourists can be fun when it can be a conversation piece.

That's why I love my Doraemon T-shirt. It combines an obscure reference with a shirt bought in an exotic location. So few have any idea what the hell the shirt is about, most think the 4-Dimensional pouch on my belly is a smiley face. And among the few who have any idea what it means, none are going to be in Japan anytime soon to buy the same shirt.

Heh. Tshirthell.com has some really good ones such as "I fucked the girl in Hanson". My personal favorite is bounty hunter inc. Though not all of them are funny, they have some great shirt designs that invoke interesting reactions. I have this one.

This is probably the next one I'm goin to buy.

I'd REALLY like to get a hold of one of those Sega Ages T-Shirts-the blue ones with "SEGA" written down one side of the shirt in white, and the names of all their consoles written in white down the other side of the shirt. Those are my pick for the coolest t-shirts that I've ever seen. :D Unfortunately I've only seen 'em on Ebay, packaged with one of the PS2 Sega Ages games, which I don't want.

I don't have a blue one, but I have the charcoal one and the orange one along with a black windbreaker with the stuff on the back.

I wear it every chance I get.

Cool! Do you know if there's any online store where you can purchase these t-shirts apart from the games?

As much as I dislike Hot Topic, they do have some kickass oldschool Nintendo T-Shirts. I have a SMB3 shirt that is done in red, white, and blue. They are pretty expensive for shirts however.

The two shirts I have from Hot Topic is a Zelda shirt that shows Link holding up the Triforce. The other is "Things You Learn From Video Games".

I may get the one that shows the NES controller.
