Fall Delmarva Shmupmeet
Fall Delmarva Shmupmeet
I'd like to wait for Mushi Futari, but it's landing after Thanksgiving, which ends up being a hectic time for most. So how about the first full weekend of November (the 7th and 8th)?
If that date doesn't work, feel free to post an alternative.

I think I'm good with that date. As long as it doesn't conflict with Anime USA, really.

Actually, as it turns out, I have a friend's birthday to attend to on the 7th, so if you guys do it then I'll probably end up just ducking out early.

I don't know if it'll show up in time, but I have an Ibara BL on the way. I will bring it if it gets here before Saturday.

Re: Fall Delmarva Shmupmeet
So what time are we meeting up? It looks like I may be up super-early for a Saturday because of Walmart's one day sale.
Re: Fall Delmarva Shmupmeet
Official start time is 2 pm. But if any of you want to drop by a little earlier, that's cool.

I haven't posted video yet, 'cause there's like an hour and a half of it? and I was lazy. Also, my camera ate through all eight[?!?!] of my batteries really fast and I needed some to get the files off... Tomorrow mebbe
[note to self: look at camcorders, particularly ones on clearance]

If you can find a cheap-ass Sony Mini-DV camcorder on clearance -- it shouldn't be more than $200-$250 at the most. Plus most stores nowdays still sell the tiny Mini-DV tapes (a specialized minature digital recording tape medium those type of camcorders requires to capture video) so they aren't hard to find...even Costco still sells them. Only thing is the recording heads inside the Mini-DV camcorder would need a periodical cleaning from time to time to ensure that they work at it's optimal best --a specialized Mini-DV "cleaning tape" device does wonders.Minzoku wrote:I dunno, I was really tucking in[someone should have gotten a shot of the "DO NOT TOUCH RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK" sign...]
