That was going to be my only smarmy comment until I saw the Espgaluda II full-length poster/tapesty thingie. Not really in my price range, but pretty sweet nonetheless.
Was that Mushihimesama poster available at the last matsuri or online sale? I've always liked that design.

It sure would be nice if Cave were to license one of it's popular DP or DDP fightercraft to be crafted as a combination of both die-cast metal + PVC parts that comprise of the model (already professionally painted and assembled). With retractable landing gear, articulated parts and weaponry, and cool LED lighting incorporated into the model itself (the internal cockpit lit up and the twin jet engine thrusters illumintated from within), it would be worthy of displaying inside a curio display case for all to admire at.

The only question is how much will Cave fans be willing to pay for such a limited edition DP or DDP fightercraft model though. 20,000-30,000+ yen and up (possibly approaching the prices of those super HTF limited-edition Japanese garage kits fare)? If the craftmanship and detailing is superb, then it would be worth the expense indeed. ^_~

Seriously, Cave do turn out some 1st class pap when it comes to the Matsuri's - but instruction set and poster reprints are a gift.

That Deathsmiles artbook was pretty special though (even if Inoue fucked up Windia's head on the front cover. )
