Anyone in Japan played Tekken 6?

I'm nowhere near good at the game, but we've had T6 in my area for a while now. Granted, I haven't played nearly enough to be able to tell you all the technical stuff, but I enjoy the game quite a bit. I was never much into fighters and pretty opposed to 3D ones, and playing this game. After I started playing and got into it a bit more I think it's a really fun game. I was irritated by the button mashing people as well, but after you know what to do, and learn the characters, it gets a lot easier to deal with them. Granted, I have one of the top players in our area showing me how to do these things, but anyone can learn the game if you try.

I know not everyone is going to like this game, and people can call it what they will.

Bottom line for me: It's a really fun game, and worth picking up.

Can you turn off the battle voices?

Just picked up the PS3 version of this earlier today. Main piece of advice: do the install. If you don't, the loading time between fights is annoyingly long.

Overall, I'm enjoying it. I haven't really gotten into a Tekken game since Tag - 4 was junk and I just never really played 5. Need more time to give a full opinion though.

Played this for a few hours at my friends house yesterday.

I haven't played a Tekken since Tekken Tag so I guess I'm not a huge fan of this game in general.

The game seemed kind of sloppy for some reason. The online was really laggy in the 10 or so matches we played. Loading times were really bad, probably get better after an install. That campaign mode or whatever is really dumb, I guess that's how you unlock stuff. Visually I would say it's the worst looking fighting game on current gen consoles.

If you're big into Tekken though, none of that stuff would probably matter to you (except the online).

I always like how it's so hard for people to check that sound option so they can give me an answer.

Anyway, I got the game, and the voices are tied to the sound effects.

Also, I can't say a whole lot about it yet, because I haven't had a chance to play it much, but the graphics are a real let down. A big step below Soul Calibur IV.
