Tatsujin Oh PCB Region Change

Post by antron »

I was playing around with my Tatsujin Oh PCB and managed to change it to a Truxton II (easier).

There are 4 jumpers (0 Ohm resistors) next to the dip switches.

I first removed J2. The region line in the legal disclaimer was blank and it looked like Tatsujin Oh
Then I removed J3. The region line in the legal disclaimer was Korea and it looked like Tatsujin Oh
Then I removed J4. The region line in the legal disclaimer was USA and it was Truxton II.

Added:
that USA version had anti-drug spam so I went looking for Europe.

I never found it but I did find all this:

1=closed
0=open

1234
1111 Japan
1110 USA - Romstar - commercial free
1100 Hong Kong
1011 Blank Asia
1001 Korea
1010 Taiwan
1000 USA - drug spam

I just bought a Korean board, can you tell me something about the difficulty? Similar to the Japanese board?
