Xbox 360 Reputation

Post by Solarus »

Has anyone discovered a fool proof way to not get a reputation dump when playing popular online games like Halo 3 or CoD4? For that matter, is there any way to possibly remove any negative feedback after a period of time with no offenses has elapsed or something? It's starting to get really frustrating when I go online, and get a ton of negative feedback from people simply because I'm tooling them, despite having not said a word during the game, or done anything which could in any way antagonize someone.

Nope. After Halo 3 and COD4 I'm at 85% avoided. However, it doesn't matter at all. Nothing is affected by your rep. My highest is in unsportsmanlike conduct cuz...you know...i'm supposed to fire a warning shot.

What's frustrating about having a meaningless statistic?

retards do it just to grief you. pay it no mind. after getting all the gears of war mp acheivements (except 10,000 kills) my feedback was at like 53% avoided. the system seems to be broken anyway, as i can't imagine that 53% of everyone i played against filed an avoid player complaint. you would think over time your percentage would go back up but it doesn't.

Psssh who does that? You're supposed to tape down the gas button like a proper pro would.

Yeah, Marvel Vs Capcom 2 did this to me. I think I'm around 76% avoided. I think its hilarious. Yup, mostly unsportsmanlike conduct.

The best was before the round even started, I hold the joystick forward and the guy on the headset says, "Hey yo get off me. Back up! Back on up fool!"

The round starts and he yells, "DON'T HIT ME! DON'T HIT ME! DON'T HIT ME! DON'T HIT ME!" then disconnects seconds into the fight.

Who seriously thinks they aren't going to get hit in a fighting game? I'd be willing to bet he negged me for unsportsmanlike conduct. I love xbox live.

I never quite understood how the reputation system works to begin with.

59% avoided over 2 years. This is what happens when you're the only worthwhile Aus/NZ Bomberman player.

I made a new account recently. My Gold expired on my main and someone's already avoided me on this. My reputation (those stars) actually went up. Can't really do anything about it unless you avoid using it, which invalidates the point of having Gold.

Most of the complaints are because I'm "unsporting". Yeah I guess the default Japanese ruleset makes it hard on people who just want to scrub out with dangerous and remote bomb. Cry me a river.

I've been getting negative reputation in Virtual On fighting japanese people even though the lag is barely noticable, you can see the connection bar when accepting or challenging a game and that they are the "host" if I challenge them. I still win at least 2/3 of my matches :P

Also yeah negative rep in CoD4 due people thinking I'm using a rapid fire controller(those were patched recently btw) with my m14 on free for all or something but in HC Search and Destroy people are usually less stupid.
