Ever have a day where everything seems to go wrong? I mean everything?

Today I got into a car wreck which was my fault, so I have no car now, and after a long day of limping around with an injured knee trying to get all of that paperwork worked out, I came home looking for some gaming to get my mind off of things.

Turn my Xbox on and got my very first RRoD. Nice. There goes the arcade cabinet fund. Ticket, Xbox, and insurance deductible. There may be incoming sales threads in the near future.

Thanks for the encouragement.

Actually just went online and registered my console for the first time, and they didn't seem to argue my Xbox being broke. They even state how much the fix will cost, which is $0. Yay. Now just to wait forever for its return. It must be newer than 3 years old, as that's the length of the extended warranty.

And so help me, I'm going to buy me my arcade cabinet, even if I have to sell off half of my collection!

My horrid luck will not stop me.

Well yesterday the vet phoned me to say that someone had kicked the shit out of my cat and it was in there with a fucked-up leg, bill is standing at £200 so far. Then the car sprang a fuel leak, plus it needs a cam. I tried out my DC for the first time in months last night and found the shitty UK cases have scratched the shit out of some games that now won't work and my official HoTD light gun is borked. Not a good day...

Alcohol usually makes me even more depressed, while puffing just makes me contemplative and emotional.

Try to remember that you are alive, your knee will get better, it's just a car, and sometimes setbacks really are blessings in disguise - taking a few steps back usually helps when leaping forward onto the next loop... like rank management in Garegga.
