Just added a replay of the alternate stage 2 for the Playstation version of Parodius Da! :)

Fans of Thunder Cross might find the second part of the stage familiar..

If anyone saw the previous vid I made of this stage, this new one is a lot better - It's clearer as to how to trigger the stage, I actually clear it this time, and I don't die.

I'll give you a hand seeding this for a few days.

(I'm actually downloading it now, so there seems to be no problems with the torrent or tracker, thankfully :))

Thanks man, I'm downloading it now! I just downloaded Hyper Duel and am now seeding it.

I have a progear replay, but it's divided into 2 files. No idea if it's the same one just split into stage1/2 or not.

Kyuiin Stage 1 & 2 replays now up (just for you, Dave  )

Not superplays, just done to give people an idea what the game is like. Sadly the game isn't too exciting to watch IMO..

Check the tracker again for a freshly created torrent, and help me seed it. (Available until Wednesday.)

EDIT: Just added a Harmful Park [Stage 1 100% destruction] replay, and yokriki2k's Shikigami no Shiro II [Sayo 2, stage 1-1, 505mil] replay to the tracker. They will be made available for a fortnight starting today.

Site update forthcoming.

Is this the 2all Progear with Ring and Chain or the 270M one? I am interested in seeing that (270M).

It's the Ring and Chain one. I don't have the 270mil one.

I have a 270MB one though ;)

I believe that the original Progear torrent was raiden's. You could always ask him for details of the replay, or if he can reupload it and seed it for a bit. (It would save me a bit of bandwidth in any case.)

Just downloaded the Harmful Park replay; thanks a million Icarus! I'm seeding it now!

And thank you El Barto for the Kyuin stage 1 and 2 replays! No one's seeding that one yet; how do I seed something unless it's done downloading?

I got that one and could probably send it through yousendit to you but the right thing to to would probably be to seed it unless no one else does it.

Just watched the Kyuiin and Harmful Park replays-and I think I'm in love!

Would anyone be willing to do a stage replay of Gaia Seed or Wolf Fang?

You're welcome. A full replay is coming in the near future so stay posted for further news.

Oh, by the way, deadline for Bakraid, Blast Wind and TFIV replays gone, so I am no longer seeding them unless by request. Many thanks to those who are still seeding them at present.

An update with new replays is to follow in the next few days. (Yes, I know I said Friday is update day, but I've been a bit too busy to work on the site.)

------------------------

Regarding seeding:
You usually automatically upload to others while downloading. Once it's done downloading though, the torrent should switch to seeding mode and upload to others, so check your seeding list at the bottom of the Azureus window (if you are using Azu that is).

Image

If the torrent isn't shown there, you can reseed by using the .torrent file. If you haven't moved the downloaded file from it's location, then just click the .torrent file and it should load, check and start seeding. If you have moved the file after downloading, go to File // Open // Torrent File (for seeding), point the first window to the torrent file, and the second to the file it's linked to.

Image

Image

From the seeding list, you can change a variety of options, such as setting an upload speed limit (useful if you have very limited bandwidth and want to conserve some for general net-based tasks like surfing, or playing online games), forcing and unforcing seeding and super-seeding, and juggling seeding priorities.

You can only seed something if you have already downloaded it (although that should be obvious).

And if you're really interested, this is what my current seeding list looks like.

I actually didn't know that, and was wondering if there was any other way to seed, so thanks for the info Icarus!

By the way, did you see the two little blob things having a little fight while you take on the first boss (Harmful Park)? I sometimes purposefully delay killing the boss, just so I can see what they get up to ;)

No, I didn't, I'll have to look for it the next time I watch the video! :P

I know of a homemade Feveron replay DVD by the Japanese record holder CKDM (sp?), but I don't personally own it. I think Venom and chtimi managed to get it, and Venom sold his on the Trading Station.

I wouldn't mind buying it off whoever has it though.

--------------------------------------

Raiden DX replays available! These are from my current score records on the highscore thread, Training 8.8mil, and Novice 5.4mil No Miss, both on Normal Difficulty.

I've stopped seeding Progear, TFV and Hyper Duel to make way for these, and they can be reseeded on request.

Site design forthcoming, Arcadia 62 and 63 scans as well. A little behind schedule here :?

Icarus, if you know of any, or if anyone else does, please let me know! Thanks! :D

Hmm...must have been on the old boards, as I can't find it when I do a search.

I have a copy of the DVD i bought from venom, On the dvd you get the following craziness.

Chapter:
1: 1-life clear with the cat. Invulnerable on last boss. (Insane knowledge of enemy placments)
2: Time attack mode with the cat
3: 1-Credit clear Type-B-Bomb-Max Speed. Uses bomb on true last boss making himself vulnerable to bullets, but still manages to clear the game with no lives to spare.
4: Omake, various replays of difficult sections approached differently, and showboating.

Ahh, so you were the lucky recipient of the Feveron DVD, Ex-M :)

Thanks for the info on the DVD, guys. I'm going to try and get that one off YahooJPN, been wanting to see it for a while. (BTW, CKDF stands for Chicken Defense Force??! What the heck...)

dave4shmups: I have Leynos 2, but am not competent enough at it to put up replays for it, nor do I have bloodf's old stuff, or anything done by anyone else for that matter. Didn't bloodf have his site saturn.bloodflowers.org with Leynos 2 vids? Or did he remove them?

If you're still wanting some vids, I can put up something quick from the first few stages, if needed. Leynos 2 rocks, but it is rock hard.

Excellent stuff as always with the Raiden DX vids, Icarus! :)
I definitely need more practice with that one.

I uploaded another Parodius stage replay today. This time it's the exclusive extra stage in the Super Famicom version, which appears just before the final stage. Hopefully of interest to those that haven't played that particular version before.

A cookie goes to any kind soul that re-seeds the Blazing Star replay :)

As good a thread as any to post this...

I was fooling around with my webcam and captured the first stage of Gaia Seed - the quality isn't good, not surprisingly, but you can almost make out the finer details. From the movie, the game looks like it's skipping frames constantly but this is just because of the capture method. If anybody's interested in seeing the game in motion and hearing the quite decent BGM, I just need some webspace to host it at - the file is 37 megs and lasts about 3 minutes.

I don't think there's much point in adding this to the tracker, since it's not a superplay, the quality is questionable at best and there just ain't gonna be much interest in it.
No matter how good a game is, somebody will always hate it. No matter how bad a game is, somebody will always love it.
