Hello guys,
I created a map on FRAPPR dedicated to locating STG players around the world. This can be nice because you can easily see on it who's close to you, and it could help arrange meets ;]

Add yourself to the map !
You can upload your forums avatar so it's easy to figure out who you are when someone clicks on your map pin.

To Admins : could you try and sticky this thread, at least for a while and to see how well this works ?

I added myself but it saved it without the ability of letting me edit it.

You can edit your pin only if you created it while logged in. I deleted you so you can re-add yourself.

Cool! Should we continue the older one or make a new? Are you willing to sticky it? I think it would be a good idea and encourage more people to pin themselves / view the map.

PS: funny I had no recollection of it at all, but I was already on that map.

i like the basic idea just not the execution, wouldnt it be better if we had a big map picture right in the 1st post and the thread starter simply maintained it? (a bit like a highscore thread)

sorry but im not clicking a bunch of links or registering at any sites to do this kind of thing.. dont think im alone in that?

I agree it's not that convenient, but you can still pin yourself without registering to that site. Maintaining a big map picture sounds like a huge pain in the ass and wouldn't be legible at all in the long run.
