No, you shoot the orbs to make the walls light up people moan about the maze stage but at MOST it takes 1 hr in practice mode to figure out how to survive that stage easily .

Been playing (and suffering) some Armed Police Batrider and Battle Bakkraid. I didn't know the later was so awesome, especially the music. Well Batrider is Batrider so not many things rival the VIOLENT CITY.

Playing some Ikaruga [if I could get Chankast's plugin to work, this would be a much nicer experience, the NullDC one is REALLY SLOW for this], and Senko no Ronde [this, on the other hand, runs flawlessly in terms of speed, never dropping beneath 75%, usually hovering around 90-100%. Also, I suck at it.].

i just watched the whole replay , that was some awesome play personally i had no idea of the strategies you display. 5-2 was tense!!! made me wanna get back into this game , respect !.

deeply in love with guwange atm and working on shikigami no shiro 3 , playing for score is awesome the suiciding and hi tension max bombs make for the most addictive shiki to date .

I was enjoying a few runs of Mushihimesama original through out the week. I can only do a couple of those runs at a time though, unlike Maniac mode which I could pretty much play on binge. I want to at least get on the board here with an orig. score, today I got to stage 5 but lost all but 4 lives on stage 5! Kind of annoying. Stage 5 is like, the best!

Pretty cool, though. Even if I can't beat the game with 3LX, I can clear original mode fairly consistently now with ma HRAP1

Guwange – Which has only recently clicked with me, now it has I’m loving it.
Gekirindan – which I’d really enjoy, other than for a stupid bug on the Taito Legends version
Gun Frontier – Feels like a proto-Garegga, really odd atmosphere
Metal Black – A strange game in every way, but great fun

Those are the four I intend to make progress with, but I’ve just collected my PS stuff from storage at the parent’s and found Raiden Project, Ray Crisis, Gradius Gaiden and Strikers 2 (and Strider 2!), so I’m a busy and happy man for the next few weeks.
