Tales of the USCA : Ship of the Week

Every Sunday since April 26th I have released, on the Tales of the USCA website, a new ship featured in the game. The ship is rendered entirely in-game and the screenshot is completely unretouched (aside from the added caption). I will post future ships here as well from now on. Comments are welcome of course!

This week's ship is the Guevara Carrier

Pretty cool. My lack of enthusiasm is due to the fact I'm feeling bad, I would be more excited on other days.

I like the SD211 pic the most, the texturing on it is really nice.

The latest ship seems a bit rough. I'm all for low-poly stuff, but compared to the other ships...

USA! USA! USA!

Bethesda, Maryland, too...

That said I might like the Iranian bomber best, though it reminds me of one of the Star Wars ships (also that better be a beam weapon else it throws the ship into a spin whenever you fire it). The Chinese thing is just too COOL FOR SCHOOL or just wacky.

The Guevara is appropriately lo-rent for a character that's all myth and no substance. Probably just a mockup anyway.

@worstplayer : Thanks! I really got help from an expert shader coder to get my texture maps to come out so good. He's really made a huge difference.

@NARFNra : Well, hope you'll feel better next weekend for the next ship

@null1024 Thanks, somehow I like the design of the Guevara better than the Lincoln, even if it has next to no polys. The Armada designs are usually very square-y and modular. Also not all ships are budgeted equal, the Governor for example probably costed more time to design than the rest of the fleets together!

@Ed Oscuro Thanks for the comments! I also like the Lanza. I'm a sucker for blocky designs But no it's not a beam weapon, but a quartet of high-powered, high-caliber autocannons :
