I've always thought the music in Rockman has always been the best music in any game, hands down. "Best" qualified as the "most fitting". It captures perfectly the essence of a plucky robot forced to move from the left side of the screen to the right and kill his brother robots for eternity. No matter how epic the song, it always has this essence of sadness to it.
Except for Crash Man's stage. But Crash Man is gay, so it's an exception.
