Looks like Sand Scorpion. There's another arcade shmup by them (Nostradamus) listed in the Xenocide Files. They also did Hany in the Sky/on the Road for the PCE.

you're right.

I personally think Nostradamus is their better shmup, very stylish.

and non-shooter related, but FACE were also the creators of one of my fav.

I prefer Moujiya. What's the deal with those two games? They're copyright-infringingly similar. I mean, the wells in MPE even have the hole in the top from Moujiya where coins fall from.
