I will stop seeding the Bakraid, Blast Wind and Thunderforce IV replays within the next fortnight in order to make way for some new replay material, so this is your last call to get a hold of these replays.

After I stop seeding, they will only be made available on request on this thread. If you haven't already got them, get them while you can!

I know this may be too much to ask, but if not, could someone here be nice enough to seed the Ketsui replays and possibly the Guwange replay? I will leave my d/ls up for the next few days...I would greatly appreciate it, and will leave it up for anyone else, thanks!!

What about Mame Input Files?

They should be legal, only distributing the roms is illegal, right?

I'm now seeding the Guwange and Ketsui (first loop only) replays. They'll be available until this Friday. Bakraid, Blast Wind and TFIV replays available until Friday after.

New stuff in the pipeline (including a new site design, scans from Arcadia 62 and some fresh music).

Any help seeding the replays will be greatly appreciated.
Edge wrote:What about Mame Input Files?
I'm quite fussy about MAME inputs, as they require all sorts of things to get them to work properly - specific MAME versions, sound and video configs, specific ROMsets - and trying to get them to work can be a hassle.

However, if anyone is making replays on EK-MAME+ v.90, I don't mind digitising the inputs and seeding the good replays.

Interested? Get in touch with me to discuss.

I'm seeding a bunch of stuff right now too:

blastwind, the 2 round Ketsui replay, tf4, Souky, ray crisis, the DDP:DOJ black label video and the bakraid one. I'll probably keep seeding them as long as the machine I'm doing it from stays up.

I agree with Icarus regarding INP replays. They're a real pain to deal with, especially if they don't come with any indication of which MAME variant was used to make them. And if the rom has changed since they were made, you're pretty screwed too. (I'm looking at you, Blazing Star)

Thanks for the help zakk. It's appreciated :)

Raiden DX and Einhander replays coming soon. I'm also considering putting up a crappy Harmful Park Normal ALL (just 3.9mil) until I get round to giving it another go.

I'd love to see a Vertical Force replay, or superplay video; if anyone who has a Virtual Boy would be willing-I'd certainly be willing to help seed it as much as I can!

I am seeding the 2 loop ketsui video and will seed the other stuff I'm downloading when possible.

I would *really* like to see the Gradius III superplay, so if someone could reseed it, that would be sweet.

Additionally, I'm getting a lot of "Error: Bad Data From Tracker - Not a Valid Bencoded String" errors from the Gradius III torrent.

I'm seeding that one now (the 100MB+ one). I'll extend the deadline until tomorrow morning (Saturday morning), which should give you enough time to get it.

Done. Can't promise to seed it as consistently as I did for the first month, but I'll do what I can for the next ~week.

I think I made that .torrent with extra hash data before Icarus said to make them without. The error might be related to that.

The Mushi vids run fine in WMP9 on my PC. It's been ages since I last updated any codecs, but I'm sure the last one I put on was an XVid codec.

If anyone can help with seeding Kiken's Blazing Star or Sengoku Blade replays, that would be very helpful. I'm seeding the Mushi and 2R Ketsui replays right now.

EDIT: Scratch my last post, just noted that you're on a Mac. There are no decompressor codecs able to run the WMV encoded Mushi replays as of yet (tested them on my Powerbook G4).

Icarus-any chance that we could please see some footage of Wolf Fang? Doesn't matter if it's the Saturn or PS1 release of this game; there are just a lot of forum members, including myself, who have asked questions about this game, and it'd be great to see some footage of it in action.

oh man, that's so frustrating. Do you have any decent videos of Mushihimesama in quicktime or dvix? I don't need a full superplay but I'd love to see a stage or so of this game in action.

Here's a YouSendIt link for stage 1 ultra mode encoded with Divx5: http://s5.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=1UJK7 ... 54V4T7QU5D

If you want some videos of the other stages, just ask.

Does anyone know why I'm having trouble seeding SOF-WTN ddp sp version 2 runs.avi? The tracker status says OK, but I can rarely connect to peers. Other torrents work fine.

I don't own Wolf Fang unfortunately (not high on my list of purchase priorities). I haven't seen any replays around for it either. Any members with capture facilities and the game willing to contribute a bit of footage?

There may be a few things going on there:
  • You might be behind a firewall and the firewall is not allowing Azureus (or whatever client you use) to send out data. In which case, check XP SP2's inbuilt firewall settings using Security Center, and add Azureus (if you are using it), javaw.exe (for Azureus) and Port 6881 to the list of Exceptions.

Do the same for any third party firewalls that you might have installed.
  • Your peers might be behind firewalls. Nothing you can do there, except hope that they read the above message and changed their settings.

Ok, well thanks anyway Icarus! I really would like to see footage of Wolf Fang.

When will we see the new content on the site, like the Harmful Park vid., and so forth? Just curious, I can't wait! :D

This Friday I will update.

For definite, Raiden DX replays (Normal diff. Training and Novice Missions, both ALLs and my current score records), a really crap Harmful Park kusoplay, maybe an Einhander replay, Arcadia 62 scans, and if I can get my arse in gear fast enough, a totally new site design.

EDIT: I just remembered I had a contributed Shikigami 2 replay, yokriki2000 sent me one in the email ages ago and I forgot about it: Sayo 1, Stage 1-1, 520mil. I'll have to put that up at some point.

This Friday I will also stop seeding Bakraid, Blast Wind and TFIV replays, so this is your last call for them. Others may still be seeding them after Friday, but I personally will be stopping distribution of them to make way for new video material.

Stay posted.
