Don't worry; I have a back-up of the site as well as some extra screenshots from a kind donor. I made the back-up as soon as I heard of Geocities shutting down; I've just been too lazy to look for someone suitably motivated to carry on the work . Shifting the material to the Darius wiki recently started by devilmanozzy is also something I could do.

I would be happy in either case. If you decide that you'd like to help out Darius Wiki, I would of coarse promote your user at the wiki to admin. Also, questions about getting down mediawiki language stuff I'll more than be willing to answer.

Well, there was word that IGN/Gamespy would shutdown all free hosting by the end of August, but it looks like a few sites are still up.
However from the ones I know of, hg101, castlevania dungeon, mame32qa and mameUI already moved servers.

thats great, although im not that into darius, it's always a great shame when a shmup (or any gaming) site that has lots of valuble info goes offline. I still think of the shoot the core site and wish b4 it closed i would of spent more time finding about all those hidden gems.
