So I 1cc three arcade games this week.....

Cabal
Blood Bros
Koutetsu Yousai Strahl


* So on Sunday by having tons of grenades I defeat the last boss on Cabal.
* On Tuesday by having tons of Dynamite plus 1337 skills (lol, yeah leet is just for kicks) I was able to defeat the two part last boss in Blood Bros. Blood Bros is so much harder than Cabal but damn it was fun beating the hell out of it.
* Koutetsu Yousai Strahl the whole game is great until you get to the last level. The whole last boss is a joke (the whole last stage is having the boss saying "I'll see you in hell!" and then having it appear). I had tons of rockets, the H. Laser, and the Expand sub weapon and it was enough to kill it with two ships remaining. The game is still excellent for a early 90s shooter, but I wish UPL had enough time to make the last stage a challenge.

A year ago I did two 1ccs in the same day (Gate of Thunder and Seirei Senshi Spriggan).

Did something like this happened before to any one of you?

Back in my younger days, it only took a single quarter to 1CC a game of Data East's Heavy Barrel. I could assemble the Heavy Barrel super-weapon with the intention of using it on the final mechanized boss monstrousity with a few well placed shots from it and it would simply explode without firing a single shot whatsoever at me. ^_~

It was a 2CC affair with the USA region HyperDyne Sidearms cabinet since the last boss "Bozon" would zap up all my lives thus requiring a second quarter to finish it once and for all. ^_~

1CC a session of Klax at the Regency Game Palace arcade back in May of 1994 was one of those cool moments of "being in the zone" that not many folks have experienced. So yeah, somewhere out there, is a Klax upright with my 1CC score session on it. ^_~

No, I haven't 1cced multiple games in one day, but then I don't get to play arcade games that regularly outside of shmups so I'll blame my lack of skill on that.

But I was happy when I managed to 1cc Elevator Action Returns a couple months ago, and I can do that without any problem now. Gotta step that difficulty up to hard now, I guess.
