who used 'like' in that way? MADEIRA STEVE88 didn't
websters says he used it as a preposition:
3 : as though there would be <looks like rain>
your link makes fun of it as a conjunction (interjectionally)
again from websters::
3 b —used interjectionally in informal speech often with the verb be to introduce a quotation, paraphrase, or thought expressed by or imputed to the subject of the verb, or with it's to report a generally held opinion <so I'm like, “Give me a break”><it's like, “Who cares what he thinks?”>

But adversity was messing with japjac, so I'm pretty sure he was sounding stupid on purpose.

ahhhhh.
back on topic:
I have decided to get Daioujou Black Label X. I am looking for something easier than the PS2 version, and VGA yoko will look better than the PS2 interlaced yoko on my horizontal monitor.
reading that I kinda guess not right? I figured it wud be there as it was last time. I'm cool though, but its taking forever, i wanna pick this game up already !!! It really sucks!

Apparently it was just an additional info on patch not an actual patch that was planned to be revealed for the end of August, sorry. Still it's true we haven't heard anything new about the patch, or maybe I missed something.
Epic month timeframe bump, but I've given up on any hope for seeing this game ever see the light of day, especially when the may rolls around, 1 year after it was supposed to be released :/
I check every week without fail in Famitsu. As of last Friday Ketsui is still listed in the TBA section for the X360. If it ever disappeared then I would be worried. If it did I would report it here and share.
I waited 10 years for OutRun to come home and 4 years for the SFC to be released from the very first screenshots, are just two examples. It's like the old days again.
I've never played Ketsui, but it has years of hype and fan drooling to live up to. I doubt it can live up to all that.
Now if they had only released this on PS2, we'd all be happy and not expecting the second coming.

i played it for ~10 minutes at a meet, got stomped so badly it wasn't even funny and since then i've been wanting to play it again
Like i stated a few times: IMO it doesn't live up to its hype, but its still a damn great shooter and among cave's finest.
@Danbo Daxter: Why that? I don't think it's that hard.
If you haven't read it from the Futari thread: - quoted from the Cave blog -
"New blog, babelfish translation:
Quote:
...Lastly, and so on to inquire, because it is many, in this
It is case of [ketsui] 360 edition, but until the patch of large death comes out, it is not to be able to sell? With the inquiry of the contents which were said has come to me many, but there is no relationship in regard to the patch and [ketsui] sale.
At present time, it has not permitted in regard to the license.
It must inform in a some way, in regard to [ketsui], because you think that, if now you can wait for a while, you think."
So I guess there's still some problem with the license - I think it reverted back to Cave after 5PB stole the DDP code. I'm hoping that 5PB make good with the patch, Cave grants them the license back, then they release the game - sometime in 2012.
pft... personally blex was a bit of a shame - the front end a complete mess - but I can live with that. Hell it was 5pb's first attempt...
Unfortunately, I can only presume Ketsui has similar problems since you'd have to think that otherwise both 5pb and cave would deflect blex bad news with Ketsui announcements. The fact that Ketsui is constantly glossed over/avoided in news/press events is also not good.
I think kotaku maybe scare mongering a bit when they say TBA is bad sign - it is pretty much status quo. However, with a lack of announcements I think business between 5pb and cave is VERY limited at this point - probably with only one or two people working on anything cave related at 5pb. I imagine 5pb is using/has used Ketsui as a lever against Cave walking away from 5pb.
Cave for their part are probably rather dismayed at how blex has gone and are probably struggling over how best to proceed; I imagine they do want to fix blex but paying for it and any outstanding issues with Ketsui are probably stalling the process.
My understanding of Cave is that they will probably favour sacrificing Ketsui's schedule in favour of a fix. However, they can't afford to fund both the fix and Ketsui. Similarly even if they could afford to take either on internally I believe their internal bandwidth is probably pretty much full on with Espgaluda 2 and Futari.
It's a bit of a shame since Cave were clearly hoping to make quite a splash with their shmup release lineup and unfortunately it got tripped up - most probably 'saved' by DeathSmiles. Additionally rather than coming near the beginning Ketsui is most likely going to end up at the end of this cycle ...
Personally... I sacrifice all other release dates for Ketsui... but Espgaluda 2 and Futari are probably more a safe bet and a done deal in Cave's eyes...
