Dodonpachi International PCB – Manual or Operator seetings?

Post by spadgy »

Hey everyone – I promise I’ve searched. I’m looking for a scan, copy or even write-out of the manual for the International version of the Dodonpachi PCB. I just want to know how to get into the settings menu. I assume as there’s no physical DIPS it’s some kind of button press or something. Surely there must be operater settings right?

Thanks!

Hold down the JAMMA test button on your cab/supergun for a few seconds.

If you check out the above link to the DDP PCB, you'll find a single black colored minature button setup (located by the rightside edge of the Jamma edge 56-pin interface and slightly above it). Press it in and hold it long enough for the Operator's Menu screen to come up. Choose your game settings and it will be saved for posterity the next time you power it up. Of course, there is no option for "Free Play" so you can credit it up to a maximum of 9 credits (that the CPU will recognize/register). ^_~

Cave got smart and implemented "Free Play" option with it's Dangun Feveron and SOS Fever PCBs. ^_~
