Namakoteam Absence in STGT2009?

Post by sikraiken »

So I heard you guys are wimping out this year. I can understand family obligations of course. I think the rest of you guys are just afraid to lose.

Hey Icarus, why don't you join TCACTRM this year? : )

I got married at the end of July, will be moving to a new apartment in the next month once paperwork is wrapped up, and have the final year of my studies starting in mid-September.
You'll excuse me if I can't be bothered to waste my time with the tournament this year with eveything going on at the moment, and even if I wanted to, I don't have the time to spare.

Congratulations. : ) You know I'm not seriously giving you a hard time or anything, haha. Good luck with everything.

But still, you couldn't have put all these things off until next year? ;)

You need better real-life rank control methods. Someone oughta start an ST. ;)

Seriously, though, congrats and best o' luck with all that stuff. :)

Congrats Icarus on your "new life" :)

I must admit I wasn't very psychoed to play this year, but my teammates insisted so much that I decided to give it a go, even if I play just a couple of weeks.

The STGT should be like the World Cup, once in 4 years. :)

I hear if you suicide, your next life doesn't have to deal with as much difficulty.

Of course, that's only if you believe in reincarnation.

There's always the possibility that it's just a ruse, and they'll sign up en masse minutes before the deadline. ;)

Whoa! We met at IC09 just before (or after?) you got married and you neglected to tell me that small detail.

Congratulations :!:

Final year of studies is the most important one, so for all the above reasons its wise to pass on it this year.
As for me, the Stork just delivered a new bundle, so things are hectic. I'd only be able to grab 1 hour per night and that just won't cut it of course.

The fame accolades and women that come with winning a STGT Tournament will now go to another Team. We expect Team Sweden to give TCACTRM a hard time. We also wish Team Hard Gay every success in stuffing it up the competition, and should they win  fame, accolades and German Bears will surely come to them Image

I think a team that has won three years in row have all rights to take a year off.
It would have been a great clash tho. :(

Next to TCACTRM, SDA (Sweet Tacos) should be favourites as far as I can tell.

A score player's definition of "for fun" is, to be honest with you, "shitty runs in which their score is 1/10th of what their best run is".
