so i have a working JPAC .... i got a egret 2 cab .... i got a copy of deathsmiles for 360 ... the only thing i dont have is a japanese 360 ---- what else do i need to hook this up to my cab ? since mushi and esp2 are coming out for it i thought a 360 might be worth picking up. but only if i can hook it up to my cab...

You're J-Pac won't help you much with the 360 I'm afraid. You'll need to solder yourself a wholly new interface for the 360. I've successfully done this myself in preparation for Futari etc in my EGRET II.

VIDEO:
If you want to run it in solid 240P, you'll need to buy an Extron video converter that'll convert your VGA (you'll need a 360 VGA cable as well) into RGB+Sync. Or, if you're fine with flickering 480i, you should be fine with an RGB scart cable that you hack and solder to a JAMMA fingerboard (this will also be used for your controls).

CONTROLS:
Get a Madkatz arcade stick (yes, that useless one) and solder the controls to your JAMMA fingerboard. If you don't want to hack the controller yourself, get one online, there's plenty of sources if you Google it. Make sure you get one with a COMMON GROUND as this is what your cabinet uses.
