Naiera wrote:I figured that out reading a few posts further than I had when posting the question ;) I've been off the grid, so to speak, since the Cave ports stopped coming out on the PS2. Thank you for the links, and for confirming to me that I need to get this. Now to unload some shit to be able to afford that Japanese 360...
no problem , i think the game looks great and i was considering getting the PCB not so long ago but i had a hunch it was coming to 360 so thought id wait , hopefully ive made the right choice , if they make the port as good as the death smiles port i will have nothing to worry about

An update on the blog page about Futari with an example of the recreated graphics ala Death Smiles.

Theres also a note about an upcoming post which will inform of the contents of a Limited Edition.

Wow, that's pretty nice, even considering the original images were already detailed for their resolution.

Yeah - that looks sweet. I'd quite forgotten about the 360 Futari port. It's back at the front of my mind now...

So should we assume that the Futari LE will be a disaster of distribution, just like Death Smiles was?

News Flash: The LE is being reprinted, btw. At least I got a notification from Amazon saying they had some for the original price.

What are the official sales figures at now? Has the game broken 40K? Guess this should be in the DS thread, but oh well.

Will order the LE of Futari pretty much no matter what.

I think a super play DVD would be better than another soundtrack CD though.

I can only hope.

The current DVD is fine. There needs to be a Black Label DVD. Top God Mode scores are 5 bil or so... I can't even dream of 4 bil, and I think my patterns are pretty good. I have no clue where these points are coming from. I guess if I no-missed and got a good end bonus I'd approach 4.

I've been hoping for even a fanmade BL DVD for a long time. I suspect there's a doubleplay one out there (there's videos on youtube and the setup is really similar to the DOJ BL/Mushi Ultra doubleplay DVDs), but I've never seen one pop up.

That said, BL DLC and replays would work well enough for my purposes.

Anyone notice the comments about the Deathsmiles, Donpachi, and Ketsui figures/model kits by RC Berg Inc?

Is there anywhere these can be ordered from that aren't currently JP-only?

I could probably use SMJ, but their "special dick sucking fee" is like trying to find hay in a stack of needles.

Not so interested in the 2p scheme... or the 14.700 yen price tag given i've not completed the last garage kit i have sitting around.

DOH, it's on the Beams Art store , 1p scheme. Ordered.

True, it would take quite some work and skill to get that realistic weathered effect on the DOJ ship. ^_~

Yeah- I'm curious too. Not that I have the funds- but kits as neat as these really should not be so obscure!

It's the 'no-painting required' bit that appeals to me! Those ships are lovelly though, especially the dodonpachi one.
